A tried-and-true line with a standard ThermolonTM coating, GreenPan Lima is both economical and highly reliable. There is a cost associated with the 12-inch skillet with the lid of about $45. This is an excellent price for a 12-inch pan–especially since the lid is included. There is no lid included with the 10-inch pan, but it does come with a bamboo turner, which is a nice extra.
You can expect to pay about $35 for it. It’s our recommendation to go with the 12-inch with a lid since it’s the best price. Both gray and bronze are available as color options for the Lima frying pans. You will have to pay more for the bronze, which is very pretty. Additionally, bronze doesn’t come with extras such as a lid or bamboo turner.
As with all GreenPan products, the Lima is covered by a two-year warranty on the Thermolon coating and a limited lifetime warranty on the construction. The best prices are usually found on Amazon, but it is a good idea to check both sites before making a purchase. Handwash non-metal utensils and use non-metal utensils if you want your pan to last.

At the very bottom of the price spectrum, GreenPan Rio is the best choice. With GreenPan Padova, you get affordable pans with a lot of great features–features we think are worth paying a little extra for. There is a bakelite handle on the Rio set that makes it unsafe for oven use. You will save quite a bit with Rio when you choose the 8-inch/10-inch set instead of Padova.
While it may be possible, we do not recommend it. In terms of price, Padova is still a good deal at around $50 for two skillets. The more durable pans you own, the more joy you will take in using them. These rivets have Thermolon coating for even easier cleaning–and remember, these pans are more durable than the Rios because they have the upgraded Thermolon Minerals coating.
It is because of these little extras that the Padova line stands out from the crowd. Make sure you use non-metal utensils and hand wash your pans if you want them to last.

Cookware made from ceramic can lose its nonstick properties more quickly than cookware made from PFOA-free materials, so we prefer other materials in general. However, the GreenPan Paris Pro emerged as the clear winner after testing a range of ceramic pans. Heat is evenly distributed, and the nonstick coating is made of Thermolon Minerals ceramic, which is PTFE- and PFOA-free. Besides being scratch-resistant and induction-compatible, it is oven-safe up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit, which is a huge benefit when transferring nonstick frying pans between the stovetop and the oven.
In terms of its look, feel, and heft, GreenPan Paris Pro seemed to be perfect-its medium weight made it feel durable, but still light enough for easy maneuverability, and the slick surface lifted pancakes and eggs easily. Our tests showed that this ceramic pan had the longest-lasting nonstick coating of all the ceramic pans. The reviewer states that after seven years he had to replace it. In addition, this pan is part of GreenPan’s more affordable Paris collection, which means it won’t break the bank.
